Git Basics Workshop with Anna Skoulikari
Detalles
Many of us in our technical writing (or other) work will need to use Git version control. But Git can be a bit scary and confusing to work with!
In this workshop Anna Skoulikari is going to go over some Git basics such as:
- What is the difference between Git and GitHub?
- What is a commit really?
- How does the staging area work?
- What exactly are branches?
She will introduce the above in a way that will help build a more solid mental model of how Git works and she will also debunk some common Git misconceptions.
This is a beginner workshop for anyone that still doesn't feel all that confident using Git or is even a tiny bit confused about how it works!
Anna is a multi-hyphenated creative and techie. She's worked as a UX designer and frontend developer and most recently has transitioned into technical writing! The workshop is based on her highest rated Udemy course Git Learning Journey.
