¡Hola Techmakers!

¡Este año estamos de aniversario! Es la 5ª edición del International Women’s Day en Barcelona y ¡vamos a liarla parda! Queremos que sea una bonita celebración y sea digna del recuerdo de todos :).

Como ya sabéis, Women Techmakers es una iniciativa liderada por Google cuyo objetivo es dar visibilidad a las mujeres en el sector tecnológico. Coincidiendo con la celebración del día internacional de la mujer, durante los meses de Marzo y Abril, se organizan eventos en comunidades por todo el mundo con el propósito de dar confianza y visibilidad a la mujer en este sector y mitigar el desequilibrio de género que existe. Todo público es bienvenido. La única particularidad de estos eventos es que las ponentes son exclusivamente mujeres.

¡Así que uníos a nosotras para celebrar un día lleno de emociones! Apuntad bien en la agenda:

• ¿Qué día es?
  El sábado 21/03/2020. Este año lo hemos adelantado porque sabemos que tenéis muchas ganas de disfrutar con nosotras :D.

• ¿Dónde es?
  Repetimos lugar. Os esperamos en el Hotel Novotel Barcelona City.

• ¿Qué encontraremos?
  Charlas inspiradoras y talleres prácticos presentados por destacables ponentes en nuestra comunidad. Este año lo repartiremos en 2 tracks para charlas (castellano e inglés) y un track para talleres. ¡Además por la tarde habrá talleres para los más peques!

• ¿Qué llevar?
  Buen humor y ganas de celebrar con nosotras este 5º aniversario :D

Estamos muy contentas y muy ilusionadas de haber llegado a esta 5ª edición y tenemos muchas ganas de compartirlo con todas vosotras y todos vosotros. ¡Animaros a acompañarnos!

El próximo lunes 2 de marzo a las 12h abriremos la primera ronda de entradas. ¡Estad atentas y atentos para reservar la vuestra!

Hello Techmakers!

This year we are celebrating our 5th anniversary! And we want to make it a beautiful celebration that would be remembered from all us :)

As you may know, Women Techmakers is an initiative led by Google with the goal to promote and give visibility to women in tech. With the occasion of the International Women’s Day, in March and April, communities from all around the world are organizing special events. The purpose is raising the confidence and visibility of women and mitigate the unbalance that we find in the technology sector. Everyone is invited and more than welcome to participate. What is special about those events is that all speakers are women.

Join us to celebrate a full day plenty of emotions! Note it in your agenda:

• When is it?
  Saturday March 21st 2020. This year we have advanced it because we know that you are looking forward to it :D.

• Where would it take place?
  We repeat location. We’ll be waiting for you at Hotel Novotel Barcelona City.

• What will it contain?
  Inspirational talks and practical workshops presented by outstanding speakers in our community. This year we will distribute it in two tracks for talks (English and Spanish) and one track for workshops. And also in the afternoon we will have a workshop for kids!

• What should you bring?
  Good mood and energy to celebrate with us this 5th anniversary :D.

We’re very happy and very excited to have reached this 5th edition and we hope to see you all there! Come and join us!
