🧭 El plan
¿Quién se apunta a un fin de semana de montaña exigente en una de las zonas más espectaculares del Prepirineo? Nos vamos a la Sierra de Guara para hacer dos rutas potentes: mucho desnivel, paisajes calcáreos salvajes, acantilados impresionantes y pueblos hoy deshabitados llenos de historia.

El Parque Natural de la Sierra de Guara está situado en el Prepirineo y cuenta con multitud de cañones kársticos esculpidos por el aire y el agua que formaron rocas de formas y colores asombrosos. Los ríos cristalinos y los pequeños pueblos (abandonados o no) nos invitan a descubrir la rica historia de este extraordinario espacio natural, en el que haremos fantásticas rutas de senderismo.

📍 Itinerario
Sábado: Ascensión al Cabezo de Guara desde Pedruel — +1.384 m / 18 km
Domingo: Ruta de los pueblos silenciosos: Rodellar – Otín – Nasarre – Acantilados del Mascún — +800 m / 18 km
Las rutas pueden cambiar según la meteorología y el estado del terreno.

Difícil (por desnivel) / Nivel técnico: Intermedio.

🏡 Alojamiento y alimentación
Nos alojaremos en apartamentos cómodos y calentitos en medio del Parque Natural Sierra de Guara. La capacidad total de los apartamentos es de hasta 5 personas: dos habitaciones dobles twin, un comedor con 1 sofá cama individual, una cocina amueblada y un baño.
Hay un pequeño supermercado y un buen restaurante que sirve desayunos, almuerzos y cenas (por si no queremos cocinar por nuestra cuenta), con opciones veganas y vegetarianas y a precios muy razonables.
Si prefieres, también puedes optar (según disponibilidad) por una habitación de uso individual (+30€/noche, sujeto a disponibilidad).

🚙 Cómo llegaremos
Compartiremos coches privados desde Barcelona. Cuando te registres, te preguntaremos si tienes coche y cuántas personas pueden acompañarte.

• Botas/zapatillas de senderismo
• Si puedes, trae un segundo par de zapatos por si uno se moja
• Chaqueta impermeable / chubasquero
• Ropa de abrigo (guantes, gorro, etc.)
• Protección solar (gafas, gorra, crema solar)
• Agua (1,5 L)
• Bastones (recomendados)
• Bañador + toalla (baños en el río si te atreves 😉)

Si cancelas hasta 7 días antes del inicio de la actividad, se cobrará el 50% del importe total. Si cancelas con menos de 7 días, se solicitará el pago completo. Aun así, si no puedes venir y conseguimos cubrir tu plaza con otra persona, te ofreceremos un vale para una actividad futura. ✨

🧭 The Plan
Who’s up for a challenging mountain weekend in one of the most stunning areas of the Spanish pre-Pyrenees? We’re heading to Sierra de Guara for two demanding hikes: big elevation gain, wild limestone landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and uninhabited villages full of history.

The Natural Park of Sierra de Guara is located in the Pre-Pyrenees and has a multitude of karstic canyons sculpted by air and water, that formed rocks of amazing shapes and colours. The crystal-clear rivers and the small villages invite us to discover the rich history of this extraordinary natural area, in which we'll do amazing hikes.

Saturday: Cabezo de Guara ascent from Pedruel — +1,384 m / 18 km
Sunday: The Silent Villages hike: Rodellar – Otín – Nasarre – Mascún Cliffs — +800 m / 18 km
Routes may change depending on weather and trail conditions.

Difficult (due to elevation gain) / Technical difficulty: Intermediate.

🏡 Accommodation and meals
We’ll be staying in fully-furnished and well heated apartments in the middle of the Sierra de Guara Natural Park, with access to a swimming pool (during summer). The total capacity of the apartments is up to 5 people: two double twin rooms, a dining room with 1 individual sofa-bed, a fitted kitchen and a bathroom.
There is a mini-supermarket and a good restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (if we do not want to prepare the food on our own), with vegan and vegetarian options at very reasonable prices.
You can have your own private room for an extra €30 per night (subject to availability).

🚙 How we'll get there
We’ll be sharing private cars from Barcelona. When you sign up, you'll be invited to let us know if you have a car, and how many people can come with you.

• Hiking shoes
• If you can, bring a second pair of shoes in case one gets wet
• Waterproof jacket / raincoat
• Warm clothing (gloves, hat, etc.)
• Sun protection (glasses, hat, sunscreen)
• Water (1.5 L)
• Walking sticks (recommended)
• Swimsuit + towel (river baths if you dare 😉)
