This group is for people interested in reading and discussing literature (classics and newer works), memoirs, history, narrative nonfiction of all kinds, and other book-length works of the African diaspora (that is, books by and/or about Africans, African Americans, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Latinos, Afro-Europeans, et al!). We meet every other month in Washington, D.C., and alternate between reading fiction and nonfiction.
