Let's talk about digital humanitarianism: Flashtalk and networking

It's Mobile World Congress week, and we'll be focusing this month on Mobile for Development and Humanitarian response.

Our guest speaker, Brendan McDonald, will share some of his experiences while Head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Lybia.

Brendan will notably explain how he activated a community of online activists and volunteers including the Standby Volunteer Task Force, the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap and Crisis Commons to help us sort a huge amount of information being shared online from inside Libya back in 2011.
