We’re opening the doors of Yellow Park for the Data Science Tech Meetup on Thursday, June 11th, to explore how to scale advanced AI for real-world product discovery and categorization.
Glovo’s team and Anna Sánchez from Wallapop will join the conversation to share their experiences building AI solutions at scale for product discovery and categorization
- Deploying LLMs at Scale at Delivery Hero: Our very own team Aleix LĂłpez and Pablo Medina will share what they've learned deploying LLMs in production at Delivery Hero for food categorization across millions of products and multiple markets. Rather than focusing on the model itself, we'll dive into the parts that don't usually make it into papers or blog posts: hard-won takeaways on evaluation, cost optimization, and stakeholder management.
- The Path to Semantic Search at Wallapop: Anna Sánchez Espunyes from Wallapop will talk about how the company moved beyond rigid keyword matching. She’ll break down how they use embeddings to understand what users actually mean when typing vague or misspelled queries into a constantly changing inventory of 100M listings.

Building things that actually stay up at scale is a constant battle against chaos. To dig into how we (and others) manage that, we're hosting the SpainClouds Meetup right here at Yellow Park on Tuesday, October 13th.
SpainClouds is a community focused on sharing and growing global knowledge about cloud computing, building groups around the world to actually talk about what works and what breaks.
We’ve got two people who have seen it all:
- Our very own Florencia Gamboa (Principal Software Engineer @ Glovo): She’ll be talking about how we keep the lights on here at Glovo when the volume and complexity start to get "exciting."
- Esther Yébenes (SRE/DevOps @ Tappx): She’s sharing 20 years of "everything will eventually break" wisdom and how architectures have shifted from on-premise to the cloud.
It’s a mix of technical deep-dives and networking. No corporate fluff… just real talk about SRE, architecture, and why simplicity is usually the savior.
