Custom APIs for Power BI Datasets

Hi Power BI enthusiasts,

following up on our last Meetup, where we introduced the new Premium Per User licensing, we're happy to announce a talk by Abhinav Singh on one of its most powerful features, XMLA endpoint.
With XMLA endpoint we could very well use client apps to connect to them via client libraries (e.g. NuGet packages) and create our own APIs to extend it further. As this is now also available in Premium Per User licensing, it becomes a huge opportunity to unleash this further with custom APIs using tech like .NET Core. These APIs can be used to get data directly from Power BI datasets to be used in apps or any other platform!
Let's see how we create a simple .NET Core API to get product lists from AdventureWorks tabular cube which is deployed to a Power BI PPU workspace!
