Bobbin & Ink is a sewing and screen printing workshop at 74 Parramatta Rd, Stanmore. We primarily run classes in sewing and screen printing, but are also a working studio equipped with machinery available for use, like a gym, but for people who want to sew or print. Help us grow a community of skilled craftspeople, by joining one of our upcoming sewing or screen printing meetups.
We run regular meetup events, and have many members who are start-up makers, launching or operating small print or sewing businesses (t-shirt printers, dressmakers, fashion/fabric/surface designers, etc). They choose to use our communal space because it is a great hub, equipped with print equipment, exposure facilities, pattern design tools, cutting space and sewing machines. We love to enable people to sew and print, so guidance and advice is always close at hand.
We have monthly membership packages from as little as $20 per month or you can book in to hire our sewing machines on casual basis for an hourly fee. We have sewing machines, overlockers, t-shirt carousels, uv exposure lamp and wash out area, a vacuum printing bench and our glorious brand new 6.5m x 1.8m yardage table which also converts to a cutting table.
