We’re launching Philosophy Movie Night — a relaxed session to watch one of those movies we never get the chance to watch in thoughtful company.
The format is simple: we watch a selected film (we will choose shorter ones, under 2 hours), then optionally discuss it together at the end.
How it works
- We’ll publish a poll with a shortlist of films.
- You can vote. The winning movie gets screened next Wednesday.
- We’ll do our best to provide English or Hungarian subtitles (we will specify it in advance).
What to expect
- A curated film with philosophical depth
- A projector and casual atmosphere. The first to arrive gets the sofa.
- An optional discussion after the screening for those who fancy talking about it.
Practical details
Location: Kisvilág Kulturális és Társadalmi Alapítvány
You can arrive from 18:00 to get your seat, order some popcorn and have an introduction of the movie.
Movie starts: 18:30
Ticket: Free (the space is limited, only sign if you are actually going)
Donations to support the association are welcome
Popcorn and beverages available for purchase
