Please join us for the April Community Café where Jerry Hodge, Emeritus RScP, will lead a thoughtful and lively discussion, along with a brief biographical history regarding Emma Curtis Hopkins. She is an essential part of our New Thought history. For those who are unaware, Emma Curtis Hopkins was involved in organizing the New Thought Movement. She was called the “teacher of teachers” and “mother of New Thought,” and was a feminist mystic, healer and author. Among her many students were Ernest Holmes, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, H. Emilie Cady, and Nona Brooks, Fannie James and Malinda Cramer, founders of Divine Science. Jerry will also read some brief excerpts from Movers and Shakers by Mabel Dodge Luhan, who was also a student of Emma.

About the Community Café. Every 4th Sunday, instead of our standard celebration service, we get together for a tasty potluck and explore topics of interest to our CSL Denver family. The Community Café is a monthly happening! Everyone is invited and feel free to bring some food and a friend. The Café is free, and love offerings are always welcome.

REMEMBER – The Community Café we will not be recorded, so please come in person, bring a friend and a dish to share!
Free parking in the two lots south of the building (lots are separated by a house). Look for signs that read: “Grant Avenue Community Center Parking.” Enter the building through the south side door.
