June Trivia Night: Pride Month, Father's Day, Valencia’s Gay Games, and More!

We are MAD Dems, MAD about Politics, MAD about Trump

MAD for May Trivia!

It’s in the air! The sweet smell of regime change mingles with the scent of May flowers as Hungary’s Victor Orban is crushed in a landslide win by his fresh-faced opponent Péter Magyar. The road to beating the GOP in November just got a real boost - Hungarian style.
Democrats Abroad Spain’s LGBTQ+ Caucus in Madrid proudly commemorates the promise of a new political Spring in the U.S. with our May 2026 Trivia Night. Come join your fellow neighbors in Madrid for a heated night of fun, with challenging thematic trivia topics which include: Mothers Day, Spanish Holidays/Food, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage, May Day and, of course, Politics!

It’s time for Gay Pride Month once again here in Madrid. Lots to be proud of and lots to continue fighting for as the Trump regime continues to flounder and sink while trying to take the rest of us with them. But Pride reminds us of the fight we fought and that we are never going back.

It’s also a great night to say “Who’s your Daddy?” as we celebrate Father's Day and mark that the Gay Games XII take place this year in nearby Valencia (or as we call it, Madrid Beach).

A $10.22 donation is suggested but not required: https://www.democratsabroad.org/donate_es_madrid. (If you can give more or need to give less, please add the .22 so we can track the donation to Trivia Night.)
