1. About the Event
   This is a community event organised on a not-for-profit basis. All registration fees collected are used exclusively to cover the costs of organising and running the event. No profit is generated by the organiser.
2. Admission
   • Payment of a registration fee does not guarantee admission to the event.
   • Entry is subject to capacity and availability on the day.
   • The organiser reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry to any attendee for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.
   • Attendees must comply with all venue rules and the instructions of event staff at all times.
   3.Registration & Payment
   • Registration is complete upon receipt of payment confirmation from the organiser.
   • Registration fees are set to cover organisational costs only.
   • Registrations are personal and non-transferable unless agreed in advance with the organiser.
3. Refund Policy
   • All payments are non-refundable. As all costs are committed in advance to facilitate the event, refunds cannot be issued once payment has been made.
   • In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to this event, as it is scheduled for a specific date and time.
   • In the event of cancellation by the organiser, registrants will be notified as soon as possible. Any outstanding obligations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the organiser’s discretion.
4. Recording & Photography
   • The event will be recorded (audio and/or video) and photographed by the organiser or their appointed representatives.
   • By attending, you acknowledge and consent to being captured in photographs and recordings taken during the event.
   • Event media may be used for community purposes, future event promotion, and social media sharing.
   • If you do not wish to appear in any photographs or recordings, please notify the organiser in writing before the event or approach a member of staff on the day.
5. Data Protection & GDPR
   In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the organiser will process your personal data as follows:
   • Data collected: Name, email address, and payment information.
   • Purpose: Event registration, communication, and administration.
   • Retention: Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above.
   • Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting the organiser.
   • Data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
6. Liability
   • Attendance is at your own risk. The organiser accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property at the event.
   • The organiser’s liability for personal injury caused by negligence is not excluded, as required under German law (§ 276 BGB).
   • The organiser is not liable for disruptions, delays, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to severe weather, public health emergencies, or venue issues.
7. Code of Conduct
   • Attendees are expected to treat all other participants, speakers, and staff with respect.
   • Harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
   • The organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates this code without refund.
   9.Governing Law & Jurisdiction
   These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising in connection with this event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany.
