Talk one: Knowledge of the Magicians: How close-up magic can inform our understanding of human behaviour
There are some fundamental UX principles that are important to keep in mind and harness when designing digital products. Magic, as a performance artform, can shed some light and hence further our understanding of some of these principles, by revealing ways that humans behave (and how magicians take advantage of these behaviours). This talk will cover three areas in particular: storytelling, attention and wonder.
