For our next DevMad Talks, we’re turning the spotlight on the Education & Training sector, hosted by The Bridge | Digital Talent Accelerator at their fantastic Madrid campus in the heart of AZCA — one of the city’s key tech hubs.
In this English-language session, our speaker and DevMad member will be from Microsoft.

🎙️ Talks description
Distributing big AI models in mobile apps
Speaker: Beatriz Viñal Murciano: Senior Software Engineer @ Microsoft.
Our mobile apps are using an increasing number of AI models, some of which can be quite big. Sometimes these models will be in the cloud. Some other times, we need the models on the device, and we need to deliver the right model to the right users minimising the storage space we use on their devices and costs. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of the alternatives we’ve considered and what choices we’ve made for different features in the Microsoft SwiftKey AI Keyboard app.
Please note that the talks will be conducted in English, and everyone with an interest in technology is welcome to attend.
