East Bay Seniors has been bringing people together since 2017 (with a brief COVID pause) and is happily back in action!

We’re a friendly group of adults 60 “plus or minus” who enjoy easygoing social time—everything from games, coffee, and casual meals to bowling, book clubs, crafts, concerts, and exploring fun local spots together.

Many members come on their own, but you’re always welcome to bring a friendly partner, friend, or family member. This group is about making connections, meeting new people, and getting out and enjoying life—at whatever pace feels comfortable to you.

Based in the East Bay, so most meetups happen locally. Members from surrounding areas are very welcome, and if you’re interested in helping host events near or far, I’d love to hear from you.

This is a no-pressure, no-judgment, all-fun group focused on good company, shared experiences, and enjoying everything our area has to offer.

We’ll mix, match, and play in small groups, so it’s easy to jump in or just watch and chat. No pressure to bring a game or stay the whole time—just come as you are and enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere. ☕

"Welcome spring with a hands-on Spring Candle Making Workshop at the library. Participants will learn the basics of candle making and create one custom 8oz soy candle to take home.
During the workshop, attendees will choose from at least 8 spring-inspired scents and decorate their candle using a wide selection of over 40 different dried botanicals, allowing each candle to be truly unique. Step-by-step guidance will be provided throughout the process, making this workshop suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
All tools and supplies are provided. Join us for a relaxing, creative experience and leave with a beautifully handcrafted candle inspired by spring."

We absolutely love Stone Church Coffeehouse concerts! Doors open at 6:45 pm, so we should get there by 6:15 for the show. I will make a reservation once I have a better idea of a headcount.

Tickets are $25 and you need to call Stone Church Coffeehouse to buy them since they sell out quickly. The number to call is (401) 253-4813.
You can BYOB, so if someone wants to bring a bottle of wine and cups, etc. Feel free! I'll come with a snack to share. Bring a thermos of coffee, water, whatever you like, or whatever you might want to share with our table. They have a small snack bar for cash as well.

The Clements Brothers are George (guitar) and Charles (upright bass), identical twins from the heart of New England. The two have been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember, first entering the Americana music scene in 2012 as part of the internationally touring grass-roots band, ‘The Lonely Heartstring Band,’ with whom they put out two albums on Rounder Records. With their debut album as ‘The Clements Brothers’, the band has been gaining traction and delighting audiences with powerful original songs and vocal harmonies only achievable by their identical voices.

Local legends!

The Atwater-Donnelly Band performs a unique and thrilling blend of traditional American and Celtic folk music and percussive dance. Elwood Donnelly, Aubrey Atwater, and Cathy Clasper-Torch blend beautiful vocals and play guitar, mountain dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, cello, bass, whistle, harmonica, limberjacks, and other surprises including freestyle Appalachian clogging and French Canadian footwork.

The performance is appealing to all ages and with a relaxed stage presence, Aubrey, Elwood, and Cathy, explain song, instrument, and dance origins to give more relevance to the material. Separately and together, these performers have received numerous accolades and have produced many recordings and books which will be available at the performance.

Free and open to all. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
