Hello, everyone,
For personal reasons I need to cancel our free in-person event in May. I know there were people who were looking forward to it, and so I’m sorry for the inconvenience. It was a difficult decision and I thank you for understanding.
If things change and we are able to schedule a free online or in-person event at some point later in May, I will write a message in our free WhatsApp group! But for now the official in-person event is cancelled.
If you’d like to practice your English in the meantime, remember that there is always our Conversation Club Membership (with two online events per month) that you can join! If you would like more information about that, send me a D.M.! (WhatsApp - wa.me/56982143632

Since these events fill up far in advance and many people who RSVP "Yes" on Meetup don't end up coming, RSVP-ing on Meetup is no longer enough to guarantee your spot. I confirm attendees via WhatsApp. Also, the location is only a placeholder (which may or may not be updated on Meetup), so please reach out to Shannon via WhatsApp to confirm the final location. We often have game nights out at restaurants in Santiago! For examples of other event types, please see our February '26, March '26, and April '26 events!
For game nights, possible games include, but are not limited to: Apples to Apples, Taboo, Code Names, Balderdash, Charades, and Pictionary.
This is the traditional game night dynamic: We meet on a Saturday night at a bar/restaurant near downtown Santiago at 7:30pm. Possible locations include, but are not limited to, Barrio Italia and Barrio Lastarria. Check the event chat for updates about specific games and the exact location. We'll eat delicious food and play games until around 10:00pm. If you come late you can always join in on one of the teams!
Come for the good food, fun game, excellent company, and English conversation!
For game nights at restaurants, the restaurant is so kind to let us all meet at their place, so please, everyone come hungry and order food and drink to support them! This game night is FREE - you only have to pay for your food and drink.

Welcome to English Party!
The purpose of our group is to encourage fluency in English while having FUN and making friends!
Our main activities rotate between arts and crafts, game nights, and music (YES - singalongs and karaoke!).
