Hello lovely readers,
For our next meeting, we’ll be reading There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak, which is a rich and beautifully woven novel that flows across time, cultures, and lives, much like the rivers it evokes.
This is a story about connection, memory, and the invisible threads that link us to one another and to the past. With her signature lyrical style, Shafak invites us to reflect on belonging, identity, and the stories we carry within us.
As always, we’ll spend the month reading at our own pace (in whichever language you prefer) and then come together to share thoughts, impressions, and favourite moments in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The discussion is in English, but the perspectives are always wonderfully diverse.
📍 Venue: Vearte Gallery
💶 Contribution: 3 euros per person, drink included
Whether you come for the book, the conversation, or simply the joy of being among fellow readers, you’re very welcome to join us.
Looking forward to another thoughtful and engaging evening together 📖✨
