🌲 Navacerrada: mountain, lake and nordic tavern (13km, medium hike)

First we climb through the great oak forest of Navacerrada to reach "Swallow's Peak". There, we'll enjoy views of the Castle of Manzanares silhouetted against its distant lake as well as the Navacerrada reservoir and the damn we will later cross on foot.

After a picnic and a coffee stop at a cute little rural church, we'll hike the damn to take photographs of the "Malicious Mountain" and her wicked reflexion.

Then we push our way up the Wild Hill, culminating in an optional but challenging climb up to the watch tower, where you can enjoy a full panoramic of snow capped mountains.

Finally, it's down to the Viking craft brewery where we can enjoy warm mulled wine in front of their open fireplace.
