Expedition: Morro del Barco

Join us for an intermediate hike to Morro del Barco, with dramatic, green scenery across the Vall de Pop and along the Marina Alta. Along the way, we’ll also explore two striking barrancos: Barranco del Cau (in my opinion, one of the most beautiful in the Marina Alta) and Barranco Carretes.
Although this hike is suitable for most confident walkers, it mainly follows mountain and hiking paths, so good fitness and sure-footedness are required. While no official scrambling is included, some sections may benefit from using your hands. After the hike, we’ll finish in Jalón for the usual quick drink. Please note that parking is on the side of the camí road, and as the market is on in Jalón, allow extra time if passing through.

Únete a nosotros en una caminata intermedia hasta Morro del Barco, con un paisaje dramático y verde del Vall de Pop y la Marina Alta. Durante la ruta, también exploraremos dos barrancos llamativos: Barranco del Cau (en mi opinión, uno de los más bonitos de la Marina Alta) y Barranco Carretes.
Aunque esta caminata es adecuada para la mayoría de los caminantes confiados, sigue principalmente senderos de montaña y caminos de hiking, por lo que se requiere buena forma física y seguridad al caminar. Aunque no incluye trepadas oficiales, algunas zonas pueden beneficiarse de usar las manos. Al finalizar la caminata, terminaremos en Jalón para la habitual caña rápida. Ten en cuenta que el aparcamiento es en el lateral del camí, y como hay mercado en Jalón, permite tiempo extra si pasas por allí.
