This event is parallel to the other one, please sign up for only one!

We will try a new location for this month's moon rise, the "Superman" building in Providence. It'll look something like the above from where we are.

Space for this is limited and it will help if you have a really tall tripod (6ft camera level), but some spots can be done with a small tripod.

The building is 1 mile away, bring your long lens, anything from from 150 to 600mm will work well. You can do short exposures, a timelapse or a moon streak (don't forget your 10 stop ND filter for that). To learn how to do a moon streak, visit this site here.

After the moon rise, we can relocate and roam around the State House, which is very picturesque.
