Exposure Compensation: To correctly expose a photograph can be easy or hard, depending on the person trying to explain it. A while back, a good friend shared with me a means by which to understand it more easily. And it works!
This program will be experiential, in that you are asked to have your camera ready. I will be asking you to take a moment to photograph something nearby, and then through the sharing of information, you will be able to see how to "work" the triangle to get the shot you want. Doug has been a member of GNPA since ~ 2015 and has served in various capacities on the GNPA Board. His favorite subjects to shoot are landscapes, sunsets/sunrises, macro, flowers, and birds. He also likes trying out old styles of photography with newer technologies.
Doug recently had a sunrise photo taken in the Okefenokee selected to hang in the GA Governor's mansion. And has been a judge for several photo competitions at GNPA.
His home Chapter is Griffin, but attends Hamilton, and Newnan as well.
Doug made the shift to DSLR from film in about 2014 and shoots with his Nikon D850 and Z8.
Beginning in June we will be meeting onsite at the Switzer Library on Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, GA.
