Bienvenidos a HackNight Valencia,
Un meetup donde el último jueves de cada mes sobre las 18:00h, se dan cita los miembros de la comunidad tech de la zona, para compartir un tema en el que hayan estado investigando o hackeando, con el objetivo de buscar sinergias entre techs.
El meetup es abierto, cualquiera con inquietudes será bienvenido. La idea es compartir conocimiento y devolvérselo a la propia comunidad de la que tanto hemos aprendido.
El encuentro se realiza en las oficinas de Flywire así que cuenta con sus instalaciones y con la colaboración y participación de algunas personas de la empresa, que tiene miembros involucrados en equipos de trabajo y comunidades opensource, y siempre están dispuestos a proponer o echar una mano a quien lo necesite. También habrá un piscolabis y unas pizzas (free) por si te apetece cenar con nosotros.

Welcome to HackNight Valencia,
A meetup where the last Thursday of each month at around 6:00 p.m., the members of the tech community in the area meet to share a topic in which they have been investigating or hacking, with the aim of seeking synergies between techs.
The meetup is open, anyone with concerns can come. The idea is to share knowledge and give it back to the community from which we have learned so much.
The meeting is held at the Flywire offices, so it has its facilities and the collaboration and participation of some people from the company, which has members involved in work teams and opensource communities, and are always willing to propose or lend a hand. to whoever needs it. There will also be a snack and some pizzas (free) in case you feel like having dinner with us.

Hacknight - 👐 Open session
Flywire, C/ Grabador Esteve 14, Bajo Derecha, Valencia, ESNo pre-arranged plan, no preparation, nothing but people wanting to hack the hell out of their laptops. 🧑💻
So, only two things are required for this session: your laptop and an idea to hack. Well 🤔, just one thing, your laptop because at the beginning of the session we will discuss the ideas and we can form teams if we want. We already have some ideas for this session:
- Wanna know the latest coolest Linux 🐧 distro in this side of the Turia River: Omarchy? Let's install it from scratch.
- Bringing to live a 386 with the help of modern adaptors for FD and HDDs
- Having a look at the Fosdem 2026 agenda. A little bit of preparation before the conference makes sense.
- Turning an old Android phone into a Matrix Server. Why? Because we can.
- Creating a map of a (pretty big) RoR app with the help of AI and Packwerk.
- Installing Forgejo in an old PC along with litestream and Syncthing (or somethiong else) to create your own git server with some peace of mind. Why? Because we can.
