- Description of hike
- We will meet at the train station Sant Vicenc de Calders. We will walk down to the seafront and start the walk. The landscape is very much marshland with grassland and rocky patches. Along the route we will visit the gardens of a museum of a famous violinist, see fortifications from the Civil War where families lived, follow a literary route of a famous poet, see a typical old style fisherman's house, an old lifeboat and an Iberian Settlement. Who would have thought there was so much history!! We will finish the route at Cunit and have a drink together in one of the seafront bars before catching the train home.
Nos encontraremos en la estación de tren de Sant Vicenç de Calders. Caminaremos hasta el paseo marítimo y comenzaremos la caminata. El paisaje es más bien pantanoso con pastizales y parches rocosos. A lo largo de la ruta visitaremos los jardines de un museo de un famoso violinista, veremos fortificaciones de la Guerra Civil donde vivían familias, seguiremos una ruta literaria de un famoso poeta, veremos una típica casa de pescadores de estilo antiguo, un antiguo bote salvavidas y un asentamiento ibérico. ¡Quién hubiera pensado que había tanta historia! Terminaremos la ruta en Cunit y tomaremos una copa juntos en uno de los bares del paseo marítimo antes de tomar el tren de regreso a casa.
