Scafell Pike. 10-12 miles. This is the best version of Scaffel Pike. From Great Langdale. Longer version but much more beautiful and the most picturesque 🖼 hike in the Lake District you can do. You will see what I mean by picturesque.

Looking for an epic Weekend escape? Join us for a 2-day hiking & camping adventure in the breathtaking Lake District 🏞️
This is a fully organised, stress-free trip where you can just show up, relax, and enjoy the mountains, nature, and great company.

🚗 Trip Details

📍 Departure: Friday 5:00 PM (meet 4:30 PM, North London) 2 Cars Available. one car departs at 8.00 AM Friday Morning. 2nd Car Departs at around 4-5 pm Friday Evening. official Campsite booked. Looking for a third car. There is also a train Group departing on Friday for those who have to work until 4 pm on Friday. You can catch the train at 4 or 5 pm

📍 Return: Sunday Evening \ ~9:00 to 10.00 PM

🏕️ Camping:

Friday: Arrive at official campsite late in the evening and set up tents. 🌌

Sat & Sun: Official campsite (toilets + showers 🚿)

👥 Group: Small & social (currently 5 in their 20s) Space for 2 more. max group size 7.

🥾 What We’ll Do

🔥 Saturday – Scafell Pike (Highest Peak)
Short & scenic route from Great Langdale
~ 9 to 10 hours total. 10-12 miles total Hike.
No heavy bags – everything stays at campsite

⛰️ Sunday – Helvellyn via Striding Edge
One of the UK’s most iconic hikes 😍
~7 hours (with breaks) if the weather forecast allows. If the weather forecast doesn't allow we will do a much easier hike somewhere local to allow an enjoyable experience and hike despite the weather forecast.

Optional scrambling (alternative route available) if weather forecast doesn't allow.

Drive back to London. should be back in London by 9 to 10 pm Approximately.
