Cascada del Purgatorio 1 de Noviembre

Ven con nosotros a descubrir un lugar mágico conocido como “Las Cascadas del Purgatorio”, un rincón único en la Comunidad de Madrid, rodeado de montañas, pinos, sauces y serbales. También visitaremos el Puente del Perdón, un puente del siglo XVIII cargado de historia.
En nuestro camino hacia las cascadas atravesaremos el Bosque Finlandés, famoso por su parecido con los frondosos bosques nórdicos, donde incluso encontrarás una casita de sauna frente a un precioso lago.

Join us to explore the magical “Cascadas del Purgatorio”, a unique spot in the Community of Madrid, surrounded by mountains, pines, willows, and rowans. We’ll also visit the Puente del Perdón, an 18th-century bridge full of history.
Along the way, we’ll pass through the Finnish Forest, known for its resemblance to the lush Nordic forests, including a sauna cabin in front of a beautiful lake.

Descubramos juntos el otro lado divertido de Madrid visitando estos increíbles lugares con gente interesante viviendo en Madrid. Podrás practicar otros idiomas y disfrutar de la naturaleza.🌿
Nuestro próximo destino de senderismo es La Pedriza, una zona de gran interés geológico y paisajístico y una de las rutas más emblemáticas de Madrid por sus impresionantes formaciones rocosas de granito. Seguiremos el camino del río Manzanares, disfrutando del sonido del agua hasta el final del sendero, con espectaculares vistas al Parque Natural de la Sierra de Guadarrama.
Llegaremos a la famosa Charca Verde, conocida por el color verde esmeralda de sus aguas debido al reflejo de las rocas de su fondo.

Our next hiking destination is La Pedriza, an area of great geological and scenic interest and one of Madrid’s most iconic routes due to its spectacular granite rock formations. We will follow the Manzanares River, enjoying the sound of water along the trail, with stunning views of the Sierra de Guadarrama Natural Park.We’ll reach the famous Charca Verde, known for its emerald green waters caused by reflections on the rocky bottom.

El Monte Abantos es una de las montañas más emblemáticas de la Sierra de Guadarrama, en el Sistema Central. Se encuentra en el municipio madrileño de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, y parte de su ladera oeste pertenece a Ávila.
Tiene una gran importancia histórica: en su ladera sur, el rey Felipe II eligió construir el Monasterio de El Escorial en el siglo XVI, alrededor del cual nació el actual municipio. En su vertiente norte, se encuentra el famoso Valle de los Caídos.
Hoy en día, la montaña muestra su belleza natural con pinares repoblados tras el devastador incendio de 1999, ofreciendo paisajes de gran riqueza natural e histórica.

Monte Abantos is one of the most iconic mountains of the Sierra de Guadarrama, part of the Central System in Spain. Located mainly in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), with part of its western slope in Ávila.
It has great historical importance: King Philip II chose its southern slope to build the Monastery of El Escorial in the 16th century, around which the town was founded. On the northern slope lies the famous Valley of the Fallen.
Today, its trails and pine forests — replanted after the devastating 1999 fire — offer a blend of natural beauty and historical significance.
