At LGTM Berlin, we're discussing the human side of LLM coding – how AI tools affect the way we build software, how we collaborate and how we feel about the transformation of our craft. We'll also mingle & have fun!

This month's speaker lineup:

1. AI changed my job, or did it? (Chirantan Rajhans)

Engineering roles are morphing. Master what remains, lead what changes.

Chirantan is a seasoned engineering leader in Berlin startups (ex-Contentful, ex-Taxfix). Now he's a leadership development coach.

2. Reading Engineers, Not Metrics — Using AI to Surface Overload Without Weaponizing It (Brian Graham)

Data about people is for context and purpose, not measuring hours and reporting up. Use AI to find the causes of overloading people, and start building systems to redistribute or eliminate it.

Brian has a background in engineering leadership across people and technical roles in a number of companies. Presently at Blacklane (Uber), formerly sennder, Spryker, Forto, and more. A Team Topologies Advocate, consultant in Agentic Engineering, and organisational design/transformation, and a coach for technical leaders.

3. Sharing the right context across LLMs and humans without heavy databases. (Johannes Tigges)

Providing just the right bits of context in the right situation to both according their specific was solved with database heavy solutions geared towards humans in the past. I'll show you two alternatives, one even without a database.

Johannes Tigges has a track record of solving hot, tangled messes that arise from naive FOSS consumption for corporates of variouses sizes from compliance and legal aspects to upstream challenges, publication and foundation work. In prior roles he focussed on engineering productivity and efficiency, where he now returns with AI.
