Difficulty Level: Medium hard level.
This activity is recommended for individuals with a good level of physical fitness and some hiking experience. It may not be suitable for beginners or those new to hiking.
To ensure a positive group experience, we kindly ask that all participants come with a cooperative and respectful attitude. If you prefer solo activities or have difficulty with group settings, this event may not be the best fit.

🌙 Night Hiking Experience
Join us for an unforgettable evening hike as we make our way from Navacerrada Pueblo into the beautiful Valle de la Barranca. We’ll follow one of Madrid’s most scenic trails, enjoying the city lights by night and panoramic views from the Mirador de las Canchas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hike Information
This is a medium-difficulty hike, approximately 14 km long with an elevation gain of 450 meters. The hike will take around 6 hours to complete.
The trail is a combination of single-track paths and wider forest trails, with a few steep and slippery sections, so proper hiking / sports shoes with nice grip are strongly recommended.
We will start in Navacerrada town and make our way into the Valle de la Barranca, eventually joining the Senda Ortiz—widely considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Madrid.

🛌 Rest Time:
Once we reach the high point of the hike, we’ll have 2 to 3 hours for rest or light sleep under the stars. Please bring a sheet or light cover to stay warm and comfortable.

🚌 Transportation:

• Departure from Madrid: Friday evening at 9:15 PM
• Return to Madrid: Saturday morning around 6:15 AM (by bus)

🚌 By Bus:
We will meet at the Moncloa Underground Bus Station, at Isla 2, Dársena 21, to take Bus 691.

• Meeting time: 9:10 PM
• Bus departure: 9:30 PM sharp

💶 Bus Fare:

• To Navacerrada: €5.10
• Return to Madrid: €7.00 (we'll take the express bus to return earlier)
  Please bring exact change or a €5 or €10 bill for the bus driver.

• The bus is free with the Abono Joven
• Reduced fare applies if you have a regional Abono (outside Madrid city center)

🚗 By Car:
You’re also welcome to join us by driving your own car.
Please meet us in Navacerrada town, where we’ll be arriving by bus at approximately 10:40 PM.

Our New Hiking and Swimming Route. We’re starting in Cotos, a mountain pass at 1842m with cool, clean, pine scented air. We’re hiking a route that takes us below Cabezas de Hierro with phenomenal views of the mountains, especially Peñalara, and the Lozoya Valley! We’ll walk through lots of lush greenery, shady trees, and along streams, pools and waterfalls. The temperature here is always cooler than in Madrid and it’s entirely pollution free! We’re going to have lunch beside a sizeable swimming hole, please bring swimming gear if you want get in. Come join us on this hike and day, complete with shade, greenery, altitude, and a dip in the cold pools, this route is completely cool and refreshing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Information and Technical Sheet of the Hike:

This medium, loop hike is 12km long with 400m of elevation change. We will take around 5 to 6 hours to walk it with time to hang out for lunch and swimming. There are a few steep and slippery sections and plenty of shade! The path is a blend of wide trails with some single track. We'll start and finish in Cotos. The path leads along a stream and past pools and there are views of the mountains too. We'll have plenty of time to hang out at the water for lunch and swimming/going in the cool water.

Difficulty: Medium Hard Level. NO Initial or Basic hikers. everyone must be fit for doing this activity.

By Bus ( Public Transport): We are meeting at underground Moncola Bus Station. find us at Isla 2, Dársena 21, BUS 691 at 08:30AM for the 08:45AM departure. Please bring change or a 5€ or 10€ bill for the bus driver. 5,10€ one way trip on the bus. The bus is free if you have the abono joven and reduced if you have an abono for outside the center!. The bus driver do not accept card Payments.

BY CAR: You can drive by your car and meet us at Restaurante venta marcelino (Google maps: https://bit.ly/3NBmaX9) at Puerto de Cotos between 10:00 - 10:15am. If you are willing to share your car and fuel cost, Please leave your Whatsapp number (obligatory), point and time of pickup area in the chat of this Event.

If you have hiking shoes, this is the hike to use them. bring Comfy clothes, Summer cap, Sunglasses, Swim Kit, Your lunch, 1.5L water (minimum), something warm for when you feel chilly. Sun screen and hat. We wear trail running sneakers. If you feel safer with hiking boots, then please wear them! Bring yourself ready to have a super fun time!

Discover the Magic of Night Hiking in Manzanares El Real.
Join us for a special night hiking trip in Manzanares El Real, located in the beautiful Sierra de Guadarrama mountains. As the sun goes down and the stars appear, you will enjoy a peaceful and unique experience in nature.
The hike takes place in La Pedriza, a well-known area for its amazing rock formations and natural beauty. The first part of the trail is not too difficult, with some small climbs and descents. However, the way back will be a bit more challenging, with many rocks along the path. Some parts may be steep and slippery. The trail includes both wide paths and narrow walking tracks.

> ⚠️ This hike is recommended for people with some hiking experience and good physical condition. It is not suitable for beginners or those looking for a very easy walk.

• Difficulty: Medium
  (The return path includes walking over large and small rocks for about 30 minutes. Please come prepared with proper footwear and a good level of fitness.)

Hiking. We’re going to steadily hike up from Navacerrada Pueblo into the vast, Valle de la Barranca. We’re going to follow one of the best sections of trail in Madrid, up to lunch at the jaw dropping views at the Mirador de las Canchas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hike info:
This medium difficulty hike is 14km long with 450m of elevation change. We’ll take‪ 5 around ‬hours to walk it. The path is a mix of single track and wider trails. There are few steep and slippery sections. We‘ll begin in Navacerrada and walk into the Valle de la Barranca. Then we'll start hiking the Senda Ortiz, one of the best trails in Madrid. Coming back to Madrid: 5 or 6pm.
