Join us for this hidden gem that takes us through turquoise waters and dramatic canyon scenery ✨
We’ll follow the river upstream, crossing crystal-clear pools, rocky sections, and narrow passages surrounded by nature. We’ll wade through the river along the way, with some deeper parts too, so expect a true water adventure from start to finish! 💦 🌿
And the best part? The incredible Poza Macías — a stunning natural pool we can swim in with a waterfall that looks absolutely unreal 😍

Tips for a great hike
- 🥾 Shoes: Hiking shoes with good grip are a must! If you're not concerned about traction, old running shoes that can get wet are also a good option. Also, bring a pair of extra shoes to change into after the hike so you can be dry and comfortable.
- 💧 Hydration & snacks: At least 2L of water, plus snacks or a light lunch to keep your energy up.
- 🧢 Sun protection: Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses – especially for the sunny stretches.
- 👙 Swimsuit and towel
- 🎒 Waterproof bag: Bring a waterproof bag (or bags with a hermetic seal) to keep your phone and valuables dry, as there are deeper sections during this hike! 💦
