We’re back with another exciting **MeetupAI Hamburg** session, this time diving deep into **LLMs**! Our focus will be on the rapidly evolving landscape of **Large Language Models**, with a special highlight on **DeepSeek R1**—one of the most talked-about open-source LLMs right now.

Our featured speaker, **Jannik Malte Meissner**, Co-Founder & CEO of Neuralfinity, will provide an **in-depth look at DeepSeek R1’s architecture, training methodologies, and its implications for the future of AI**. We’re also hosting another **LLM-related talk**, this time focused on **Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)**. **Jingwen Yang** will walk us through the fundamentals of **RAG**, demonstrating a practical use case and the infrastructure required to deploy a basic RAG system on **AWS**. We’ll explore how **Agentic RAG** builds upon this foundation—highlighting when and why you might need autonomous agents, what capabilities they bring, and how they enhance traditional RAG with **dynamic decision-making and tool use**.
