### Journaling as a Buddhist Practice 🪷
After my second Vipassana and a stay at a Buddhist monastery in northern Thailand this summer, I came to a rather peculiar thought:
It turns out that the simple act of putting pen to paper has a LOT to do with some of the core concepts of Buddhist practice.
Why is that? What does it mean for you as a journaling fan — and why might it matter even if you’ve never kept a journal or had anything to do with Buddhism?
Come and find out.
This workshop combines just enough theory with plenty of practice, as we explore the unexpected connections between journaling and Buddhist ideas such as presence, observation, impermanence, non-judgment and compassion. We'll go deep and personal – but remember, it's a safe space where sharing is always optional.
You don’t need to know anything about Buddhism. You don’t need to be an experienced journaler. Just bring a notebook, a pen, and an open mind.
In the end, you might look at your journaling practice in a completely new way!
