We've enjoyed bowling, volleyball, tennis and other casual activities with awesome people in North Jersey since May 2024.
We try to organize 3-5 events per month. Most of what we do is considered active recreation. Other activities will come with their own set of details.
Many who choose to participate are playing for the first time ever or in years. Most do not participate in a league or partake in the various activities multiple times a week. However, it's perfectly fine if you do.
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities!! We're not here to analyze your form or skills. We're here to hang out and enjoy some friendly competition. Over time, we've begun to see a lot of familiar faces, and hope you've noticed them too.
We have few rules and no real structure. You just show up whenever and have a good time. Oftentimes, you don't even have to do anything in advance of the event. And a lot of what we do is free, or at most like $30.
Of course, you pay for your own bowling games and table tennis hours. Volleyball and traditional tennis are outside and free. Food and drinks can be purchased at the alleys and table tennis facility, but for the other ones, you can BYO if you have an interest.
Somedays, we may have to wait until lanes or courts free up. It's certainly possible, we may have to relocate or cancel if others are using them upon arrival. Please keep that in mind if you're traveling from far away.

V for Volleyball at Watchung Reservation & BBQ
The Loop Playground, Mountainside, NJ, USI'm Mike and my son is Michael. Join us as we play for fun initially, then we'll keep score. When we make teams, we'll get a bit competitive where you must serve to score! Games will be to 25 or 15 or 10 if we have more people playing. No kicking, no using your head.
There's no fee to play, maybe bring a ball. We'll have 2 Mikasa balls & 1 Wilson ball.
We have our own Volleyball NET, poles, & ropes!
There's a fire pit nearby so we will cook & have a barbecue.
