About
A hands-on sewing workshop for beginners and yes perfect for no sewing exper wher,e you’ll turn unused denim into a patchwork top or skirt.
We’ll focus on simple zigzag stitching, raw edges, and texture — no patterns, no perfection pressure. This is a practical, guided workshop where you learn by making.
What you’ll do
- Learn how to thread the machine and run it
- Cut and select reclaimed denim pieces
- Optionally drape and design your garment shape (top or skirt)
- Pin panels together to test fit and proportions
- Join pieces using zigzag stitching
- Sew and finish your work

What to bring
Please bring reclaimed denim pieces based on what you want to make:
- For a TOP:
Bring up to 3 denim pieces (small or large).
Mixing different textures, washes, and colors is encouraged. - For a SKIRT:
Bring up to 5 denim pieces, depending on how long you want your skirt to be.
More pieces = longer or more patchwork detail.
Denim can come from jeans, jackets, skirts, or scraps.
If you dont have denim, You can still sign up but do let me know directly
You’ll take home
- A finished patchwork denim top or skirt
- Basic machine sewing confidence
- Patchwork and zigzag sewing skills
Important notes
- Limited to 6 participants only
- Language of instruction: ENGLISH
- If the event fills up, please check for additional dates
