Join us for some focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area.
Here's how it works:
When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, we will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session.
Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries!
A note about the format
We don’t host critiques or readings. These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft, so no one will read or critique your writing.

What should I bring?
Your writing tools of choice and earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s ambience.
How to find us
To find us, enter Librería 80 Mundos (formerly known as Pynchon & Co) at Calle Segura 22 and pass through the bookshop until you see a cafe to your right. Once there, look for the Shut Up and Write! sign. We are usually at the large wooden table by the windows.

Únete a nosotros para concentrarte en tu escritura. Cualquier persona y nivel de experiencia es bienvenid@ y no te preocupes, nadie verá lo que has escrito. Esta sesión se trata de terminar tus proyectos, y conocer a otros escritores de tu zona.
Así es como funciona:
Cuando llegues, saluda al grupo, tómate algo, y prepara tus herramientas de escritura. Una vez instalados, tómate un tiempo para charlar con tus compañer@s escritores. Una vez que tod@s hayan llegado, dirigiré unas breves presentaciones y luego programaré el cronómetro para nuestra tranquila y concentrada sesión de escritura.
Después, tendremos tiempo para charlar y conocernos. A menudo hablamos de nuestros éxitos y desafíos como escritores. Si no tienes tiempo para quedarte, ¡no te preocupes!
Nota sobre el formato:

Cómo encontrarnos
Para encontrarnos, entra en la Librería 80 Mundos (anteriormente conocida como Pynchon & Co) en la Calle Segura 22 y atraviesa la librería hasta que veas una cafetería a tu derecha. Una vez allí, busca el cartel de ¡Cállate y Escribe! Normalmente estamos en la mesa grande de madera junto a las ventanas.
Por favor, agradece al local anfitrión comprando algo.
