Cleanup Oceanway Park
Oceanway Park, 12215 Sago Ave, Jacksonville, FL, USLet's do our part and clean up a little bit of Jacksonville and make it beautiful again! The Sierra Club will be partnering with the City of Jacksonville Parks, Recreation, and Community Services and Cross Organizational Cleanup to help clean up Oceanway Park.
We need lots of volunteers to help pick up trash around the park and volunteers with kayaks to help pick up trash in the pond.
Kayakers must wear a PDF.There is also an invasive plant called water hyacinth that we will be trying to remove (not all but as much as we can) from the fishing area.
The City of Jacksonville will be providing grabbers and bags for us to use. Please bring water and gloves.
You will be required to sign a Jax Parks liability waiver.

Emerald Trail Cleanup - Downtown S-Line
Emmett Reed Park Playground, 1093 W 6th St, Jacksonville, FL, USNot a Sierra Club event, but we're teaming with Groundwork Jacksonville for cleanup along the S-Line Trail downtown.
Let's join in on a trash cleanup along the beautiful S-Line Trail in downtown Jacksonville.
We will help clean the 1/2 mile section from W. 6th St to Moncrief.
GWJ will provide trash grabbers, gloves, and bags. Please bring: water, bug repellent.You will be required to sign a City of Jacksonville liability waiver.
Groundwork Jacksonville is the city’s primary nonprofit organization specifically created to clean and redevelop Jacksonville's Emerald Trail and convert contaminated land into parks, playgrounds, trails, and other public green space.
