This day hike, though short, involves an interesting section of rocky path that does a full-body workout to get to the scenic view at the summit rock. Quite a different trail terrain than a normal jungle trail - this section will excite and pump your heart a bit more.

Bukit Aping, located near Kota Tinggi in Johor, Malaysia, is a 106-meter (348 ft) hill known for its scenic, curvy rock formations.
Hiking to the Jumanji Rock is often described as an easy 6 km trek through shaded forests. Located just across from Singapore, the trail features unique boulders, including the "Jumanji Rock," "Table Rock," and hanging rock formations.

Certain sections are steep enough to require ropes or ladders to traverse safely, demanding upper-body strength.

    • Gloves will be very useful. Our watchful guides will always be around to assist whenever needed.

Despite some rocky challenges, it is often touted as a rewarding experience for those who prepare for a challengingly interesting hike rather than a simple hike/stroll.

    Watch the exciting video here.

    • Difficulty: Suitable for beginners looking for a good workout, with some scrambling and ropes sections. Only short sections are steep, rocky slopes, demanding caving sections.
    • Duration: ~4โ€“5 hours.
    • Terrain: Rubber plantations, rocky slopes, and mini caves with overhanging rocks.

Lonely Planet "Georgia today is by far the most visited country in the South Caucasus, and itโ€™s easy to see why: its rich culture and astonishingly diverse landscapes make it an ideal destination for anyone loving history and nature on the grandest of scales. From its green valleys spread with vineyards to its old churches and watchtowers perched in fantastic mountain scenery, Georgia never disappoints. In recent years, TBILISI, the capital, has emerged as one of the coolest cities in Europe, with a burgeoning club scene, world-class restaurants & a selection of natural wine bars that easily make it the hippest spot in the region."

Of all the regions of Georgia, Svaneti, specifically the UNESCO Upper Svaneti immerses you in stunning alpine landscapes, dramatic peaks, alpine meadows, ancient Svan towers (watch towers made of stone), deep green valleys, remote villages, and lush valleys. The region's rugged mountains, unique culture, and rich history make it an unforgettable, off-the-beaten-path Hiking adventure. The towering Mt. Ushba, glacial rivers, and remote villages add to its untouched, breathtaking beauty.
Ushguli is the highest continuously inhabited village in Europe. Nestled in the remote Caucasus Mountains of Georgia, it feels as if stepping into medieval times. It is nestled beneath the snow-covered massif of Mount Shkhara (5193m) โ€“ Georgiaโ€™s highest peak. Itโ€™s been on the Unesco World Heritage List since 1996 and is characterised by its rather unique stone towers, used as defensive fortifications, familial living quarters, and personal treasuries.

The snow-capped Celestial Mountains of Central Asia dominate the spectacular landscape of Kyrgyzstan, and the alpine scenery is truly breathtaking, but it's the cultural encounters with the Kyrgyz people that make this trip unforgettableโ€”explained under What is special about our trips?

Kyrgyzstan is a world-class trekking destination, on par with countries like Nepal, Georgia & Peru! It is 90% covered in mountains, which means that there will be endless trekking trails suitable for your hiking experience and fitness level. It's the Tien Shan mountains that are the real scenic draw of Kyrgyzstan.

The landscape is extremely diverse, shifting from variegated desert to verdant steppe to soaring mountains. The people are also among the coolest you'll meet when staying in their Yurt โ€“ they are truly nomadic and competent in their habitats.

What is special about our trips?
Similar to Thailand & Mongolia, we worked with CBT [Community Based Tourism] partners. The basic principle of CBT is to support & improve the living conditions of local communities in remote mountain regions by developing a sustainable and wholesome ecotourism model.
๐Ÿ˜ In our trips: We stay more often in well-equipped homestays and have more meals in local families of the ethic minorities like Dungans [Hui], Uyghurs, Kazakhs.
