Sobre nosotros
The St. Louis Game Development meetup is dedicated to bringing game developers, both professional and amateur, together to socialize and collaborate. Each month we host a get together for veterans and newcomers of the development world. This includes individuals with skills or aspirations in game design, programming, animation, 3D modeling, or any other craft related to producing a video game.
At its core, game development depends on the relationships between all those involved to bring a project to fruition. We'd like to provide a supportive atmosphere for people to get together and share their experiences, and maybe make a few friends along the way. Who knows, you may just find someone who can help you with your next idea!

Game Club: Sonic Robo Blast 2
·En líneaEn líneaGame Club is like a book club except we pick a game to play each month and then meet up to discuss it with a focus on game design.
To keep the group budget-friendly, games we play are generally under $15. Each month we randomly select someone in the group to pick a few game options and then we vote on which one to play for the month. You must attend a meeting to be selected, and voting is done on our Discord server.
This month's game is... Sonic Robo Blast 2!
We will be meeting virtually on Discord this month (in the general voice chat). Come share your thoughts on the game with us!
info/notes from Meepalasheep on SRB2:
- Super cool Doom Mod that is a full fledged 3d classic sonic game. Comes with its own installer, nothing needed. https://www.srb2.org/download/
- So many mods and custom characters and levels. https://mb.srb2.org/addons/categories/srb2-v2-2-x.1/
- It's not a super long campaign! Very replayable, too!
- Co-op is fun. The vanilla vs battle mode, not so much.
- I'm interested in seeing if the game is "too fast" for people! I'm so used to the game but I see how it could be unwieldy!
- Check out the character choices when you start! Tails and Knuckles might be better to get a handle on the game! Or find a custom character that you like!
