Before heading out into the decorated streets, we're meeting at the flat of an Italian friend who'll be cooking something typical from back home — the kind of dish that's made slowly and eaten without rushing. No restaurant, no queues: home cooking, a long sobremesa, and good conversation.
Then, out into the streets. Festes de Sants is a festival you walk through: streets decorated by the neighbours themselves, music, people on every corner, and that neighbourhood atmosphere that's getting rare in Barcelona. We'll wander through the award-winning carrers, stopping wherever it feels right.
The flat is right by Badal (L5), so it's easy to reach from anywhere in the city.
Places are limited — the flat only holds so many, and whoever's cooking needs to know how many plates to set. 🍝

Festes de Sants + comida italiana casera cerca de Badal 🇮🇹
Sants se viste de fiesta y nosotros lo empezamos como toca: en la mesa.
Antes de salir a recorrer los carrers guarnits, nos reunimos en casa de un amigo italiano que cocinará un plato típico de su tierra — de esos que se preparan despacio y se comen sin prisa. Nada de restaurante ni de colas: cocina de casa, sobremesa larga y buena conversación.
Después, a la calle. Las Festes de Sants son de las que se viven a pie: calles decoradas por los propios vecinos, música, gente en cada esquina y ese ambiente de barrio que en Barcelona ya queda en pocos sitios. Iremos viendo los carrers premiados, parando donde apetezca.
El piso está muy cerca de Badal (L5), así que llegar es fácil desde cualquier punto de la ciudad.
