Drawing from her background in political education and community communications, Béla offers insights into remaining agentic during conflicts without making our identities invisible. This session provides a dedicated space for reflection and the exchange of strategies that help us set boundaries while staying connected to ourselves and our communities. **About Radical Empathy** **Radical Empathy – Tools for Togetherness** builds on Radical Empathy – Queer Storytelling for Connection (2025) and further develops the format: from collective storytelling to collective practice. Not sure but want to find out more? Then come and join us on a visit to Pfaueninsel. We will walk first for about one hour from Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz towards Pfaueninsel. Then we take a short ferry ride to the the island. The ferry ticket (valid for both ways) cost 6 Euro and includes the entry fee of the island. Together we will explore the island and find a place to sit, preferably on the lawn or by the water. It's best to bring something to sit on, like a blanket or yoga mat. We can play some cards, have a picnic, or just talk about your favorite HSP topic. We will leave the island at 6 pm and then head back to S-Bahnhof Wannsee (probably with the bus nr. 218). **When:** Sunday 31 May at 12:30 pm **Exact meeting location:** At the bus stop opposite S-Bahnhof Wannsee. Join me for a relaxed walk-in painting workshop inspired by my practice as a visual and transdisciplinary artist. This is an open process rather than a fixed class — you can arrive at any point between 13:00 and 16:00, stay for as long as you wish, and become part of a shared painting space. Throughout the afternoon, I’ll be painting alongside everyone while sharing techniques and materials from my own artistic practice. We’ll explore acrylic painting, mixed media processes, and especially gold foil gilding techniques — experimenting with ways of bringing light, texture, layering, and unexpected material encounters into painting. We’ll also play with unconventional materials such as eggs and honey and discover how materials can behave beyond traditional painting approaches. Participants will create small compositions inspired by playful surprise prompts drawn at random — allowing each work to unfold in its own direction.
