Get ready creative writers! Inkwell is proud to announce Reading Club, our latest event for the Shanghai writing community. Reading Club is a low stress literature gathering that meets every other Monday evening. We read through through a short short or essay at the meeting and then discuss it. Add Ryan (WechatID: texaswriter) to join our wechat and find out what text is being discussed next. I don't keep Meetup very up to date and everything Inkwell does is organized through its wechat groups, so even if the number of attendees on meetup is low, there's likely an event still going on. For two hours, poets can bring and share work to be critiqued and workshopped by fellow poets. The workshop is in English, but both experienced and new poets are encouraged to attend. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.
