You can choose to have your camera on or off and participate or just listen.** **PA-A is designed to support people in different phases of the alienation continuum, from those with absolutely no contact, to partial contact and to members who have reestablished regular contact. We are all struggling in unique ways. What this means is we are recovery based. We concentrate on working on solutions to our emotional, spiritual and physical challenges that arise out of alienation and all of our relationships. We differ considerably as we have a framework (Allanon) that has worked for over 70 years for people struggling with all sorts of interpersonal relationships. We have adapted this program for alienation.** **The meetings have structure, a leader and a secretary that maintain safety and consistency. We use a timer so no one person can dominate a meeting. We also share in a way that supports and uplifts our community. This is really useful if you feel stuck, hopeless and alone. It keeps us out of the spiral of alienation and gives us a way out.** **Some people think once their alienated child or family member is back in their lives that reconnection will be a relatively smooth process, but the reality is that recovery is a lifelong journey. As PA-A grows in numbers and strength, we will learn how to heal and thrive as a community. The Documentary film "The Phenomenon Bruno Gröning" -- (On the Tracks of the "Miracle Healer") is now permanently streaming on YouTube! It chronicles the life, work, and teaching of Bruno Gröning. In 1949 the name Bruno Gröning dominated the headlines. Everywhere that he appeared, hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of people flocked to see him. They came from all over the world including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, and even the USA. Those who flocked to see him, were sick & injured people. For many it was their last ray of hope. Beaten down by the war, given up on by doctors, they had only one wish, to become healthy again and be free from pain and suffering. Bruno Gröning could help them, and he did! "There is no incurable -- God is the greatest physician!" were his words. Then the unfathomable happened: innumerable people became healthy again! Join us for one of our favorite hikes this Tuesday (4/21/26) at 6:30 pm as we hike the Hoover Dam Scenic Trail, starting at the west end of the dam. This hike includes some paved paths/roads along with some dirt trails, with a few beautiful views of the reservoir. Join us for this 2 mile hike, finding us in the parking lot at the corner of Sunbury and Smoke Burr.
