FREE WEBINAR: How to Outsource Development of Your App
This event is organized by TechSpeak.
Our meetup group is collaborating by promoting this event.
This event is FREE to attend!
In order to attend, please register here:
https://www.techspeakforentrepreneurs.com/outsource/?utm=ideatoipo
(Registrants will receive login info right before the start of the event.)
If you are a non-technical person with an idea for an app, you’re probably looking for a technical co-founder to help you build the app.
However, you can launch a tech startup by outsourcing code!
In the early days of your startup it can be challenging to attract a technical co-founder to build your app. But by knowing how to efficiently outsource the building of your MVP and gain some traction, you can de-risk the opportunity for the tech person and change the conversation from "I Need You" to "Here's an Opportunity".
In this webinar, the speaker will discuss the best way to outsource the development of your app, including:
1) Why outsourcing may be the best way to find a technical co-founder
2) Outsourcing best practices
3) How not get ripped off in the process
and more!

1 Million Cups- Irvine
Attention Startups, Early-Stagers and Entrepreneurs of All Stages
1 Million Cups (http://www.1millioncups.com) (1MC) is a program run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs in 150+ U.S. communities (as of January 2018) - based on the notion that entrepreneurs gather weekly to network and discover solutions over a million cups of coffee.
1 Million Cups - Irvine
In June 2014, 1 Million Cups – Irvine (http://1millioncups.com/Irvine) ( #1MCIrvine ) became the 38th 1MC community and invites participation by entrepreneurs; startup, early stage or established, mentors, advisors, and business people alike from across Orange County to join these free hour long events.
Each week on Wednesday morning, 1MC - Irvine offers one or two startups or early stage entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business or concept to a diverse audience followed by 20 minutes of audience feedback, questions, suggestions and referrals.
A Win-Win!
Presenting entrepreneurs gain insight into possible ways they can improve their businesses, gather real-time feedback, connect with a community that truly cares about their progress, and walk away feeling like they have advanced their business. The audience also learns a great deal from the presentations. Whether this is through passively listening or deeply engaging with the entrepreneurs, there is much to learn every week from these dynamic and diverse communities.
When: Wednesday, Weekly
Time: 7:45 - 9:00 AM.
Meetings start promptly at 8:00, end at 9:00. Open for networking after until 10AM.
Please join us at our new meeting venue!

Friday Night Discord Games and Hangout!
Firstly we play all week and not only on Friday nights, so come and take a look and say hi in the Discord 😊
Random members of the group gather in discord and play games on Friday night! Depending on my schedule I may or may not be able to join! But many members are there so feel free to drop by and put something together!
It says from 8-10pm but we often go on till 11 or 12.
Most of the games are completely free and can be joined via browser or a link! Come and join, everyone is super friendly and willing to help newbies.
We play all kinds of games such as Among us, Board games, Jackbox Party Pack, Codenames and lots more.
We also play many PC games on steam in the discord during the week. Such as Rocket League, Valorant, Elder Scrolls Online, WoW, Fall Guys, Overcooked 2, Rainbow Six Siege etc..
We usually get between 10-20 people join directly via the Discord so don't worry if not many have joined from this page, many people always join on Friday night :)
The event is completely free to join ;)
See you there! Just come and say "hi"
Aaron (or Taro in the discord)
Freeform Gaming Online
The historic Boardgame And RPG Enthusiasts Group is organizing online boardgames each wednesday, at 8:30 pm - 11:30pm on their online discord.
Join a welcoming community for folk near and far, young and old, of every shape, ability, and gender identity, as they enjoy digital boardgames and chatting in our discord voice channel to build a fun online community, centered around boardgames and roleplaying games. Chatting in the discord requires a microphone for your personal computer and a discord account. You can join our discord for free at the following web address. [https://discord.gg/nagJvNAmvs](https://discord.gg/nagJvNAmvs)
There are many different methods we use to play board games online, but the most common is a free website, Boardgame Arena. It is accessible through an app or from most web browsers, and facilitates live games of over 480 of the most popular boardgames.
It's easy to use! All you need is an email address and you can sign up for a free account here: [https://en.boardgamearena.com/account?page=newuser](https://en.boardgamearena.com/account?page=newuser)
Some games often played by members on BGA include, but are not limited to; Innovation, Space Base, Railroad Ink, Race for the Galaxy, 7 Wonders, Welcome To, and many more.
We also use the discord to coordinate future events, and with the recent access to widespread vaccination we are in the process of carefully opening up some live and in-person events. Come join us to be a part of the planning, or just for the most recent updates!
This meeting will be a freeform gaming event. Freeform Gaming meetings are open gaming events where everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to suggest any games they would like to play. If you suggest a game, please be prepared to teach it to others, or make it clear up front if it will be a learning game for everyone. Rules lawyers and game-crappers should feel free to stay home.
To attend, all that we ask is that you review the Group Guidelines ([http://www.meetup.com/bn-bareg/messages/boards/thread/4892770](http://www.meetup.com/bn-bareg/messages/boards/thread/4892770)). While not required, RSVPing helps let us plan how to break up groups for games ahead of time.
Knowing beforehand, if we have room for a 6 player game of Codenames, or if someone is wanting to play a 5 player game of Terraforming Mars, makes things a little easier to plan.
We hope to see you there!
Friday's open meetup
Friday's open meetup is the place for small talk, meeting new people and exchanging ideas.
Join our discord server and chat in a relax and friendly setting. There is no formal structure for those meetings, and you're free to come up with whatever topic you want.
Some examples:
* You want to have someone to talk to while working out a concept
* You need motivation to work on your project each week
* You want to stream your development
* You want to learn about the Luxembourgish game dev community
* You have general questions about game development
* You need technical help
* You want to collaborate
* You want to present a project
* You want to talk about games
* You have nothing better to do
* Etc...
Since it's a weekly event, we don't really expect people to rsvp (except if you need to see the server link). Just drop in whenever you like, use the text channel or go straight into voice chat.
Everybody is welcome!
Spoken/common language is usually English.
Discord: *Please note that you will need a verified discord account in order to access the server, so it's better to handle that in advance.*

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group!
The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play.
Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes.
We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area.

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
