About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living Rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. It aims to introduce people living in Ireland to Buddhist teachings and practices that have been passed to Rinpoche through his masters and their masters going back many, many generations in order to benefit and bring peace to all sentient beings. ## Details The title of the event is a paradox! Read in silence and then discuss with like-minded folks! :-) 📝 **How does this work?** We will meet in the Bartley's Restaurant area from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM for silent reading and followed up by discussion. **During silent reading, you're expected to remain silent and read.** Please bring your headphones and refrain from the discussion during the first one hour in the area. 👥 **Socialising** After an hour, at 8:15 PM, we'll discuss and socialize about the book you're reading. We highly encourage you to move between tables and strike up conversations with fellow book lovers. Explore Hollywood Forest Loop in County Wicklow. * Meeting Point : Connolly Station, Dublin. * When: 12:10 PM, Friday, 24th of April. * Arriving : 13:35 PM to Hollywood, Wicklow. We will be meeting at Dublin Connolly Train Station for 12:10 PM (Inside the train station beside Pret A Manger), Waiting time 8 Minutes After the 8 minutes of waiting we will be walking outside and walking to Connolly Station Bus Stop (Stop Number 135121). It is beside the Luas Stop We will be taking the 132 Tullow Bus which is scheduled for 12:30 PM (Bus Eireann). Bus Duration, 1 Hour and 5 Minutes (3 Stops), Connolly, Tallaght and Blessington. Arriving in Hollywood, Wicklow at 13:35 PM, it is a 6 minute walk to the starting point of the trail. There is a coffee shop in Hollywood called Hollywood Cafe, there is indoor and outdoor seating and a toilet. Trail Loop (Moderate) 5.3 KM, Duration 1 in a half to 2 hours. **Discaimer** We have to be back to the Hollywood Bus Stop for 15:21 becuase that is the only Bus returning to Dublin at Customs House Quay 16:26 PM. Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Free Communal Garden Class Series GROWING MUSHROOMS In this class, we will discuss how to raise mushrooms on logs outdoors as a way to raise food in parts of your yard that are usually too shady to grow vegetables or other crops. We will discuss what mushroom species can be cultivated, what tree species they can grow on, and demonstrate how to prepare and inoculate the logs. By following these steps, you can have your own bountiful mushroom harvest!
