This is a free, confidential \*\* in person \*\* support group for LGBTQ+ identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQ+ people. WHAT TO EXPECT: Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people discuss issues, ask questions, offer personal experiences, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing. Every meeting is different and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of being connected to others as they share and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to ensure fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally feel very glad that they attended our support groups. While our support groups are for the LGBTQiA+ community and their loved ones and allies, we would also like to encourage significant others of transgender and gender diverse loved ones to join our support groups. We gather at 6:45 pm. We starts at 7:00 pm. The support group ends at around 8:30 pm. **NOTE:** even though many of our support group meetings are held in churches, PFLAG Austin is agnostic with respect to religion. Come out for a casual evening bike ride along Brushy Creek Trail East. We roll at 6:05pm and plan to ride for about an hour. Distance is flexible depending on the group's pace. The trail is fully paved, so any type of bike works. Road bike, mountain bike, hybrid, whatever you've got. All skill levels welcome. Bring water and lights just in case we're out past sunset.

Come join us for a day of fly fishing on the beautiful Llano River! Known for its clear water, scenic granite outcrops, and unique Texas Hill Country geology, the Llano offers one of the most enjoyable wade-fishing experiences in the state. Whether you’re brand new to fly fishing or already have some experience, this event is designed to help you learn, improve, and most importantly, catch fish! I’ll be available throughout the day to personally help you catch a fish if needed. Think of it as having a free guide and fishing buddy for the day. The Llano is home to a large variety of species including Guadalupe bass, largemouth bass, sunfish, catfish, gar, freshwater drum, carp, and more. You never know what might grab your fly. What to Bring: * Valid Texas fishing license * Water * Snacks * Sunscreen * Shoes or sandals that can get wet * Hat and polarized sunglasses (strongly recommended) * Fly rod and gear if you have it Need a Rod?
