Hi Everyone, We are looking for more players (and GM's) in our weekly virtual "tabletop" role-playing group (yup, we are once again online, thanks to the winter surge and Omicron. We'll likely get back around a table in the spring). We meetup once a week on Saturdays, from about 11am to 5pm, occasionally there's some minor variation on the time, dependent on the schedules of our players but the game IS on Saturday around that time (please make sure that reliably works with your schedule before responding). At the moment, we're in the midst of re-organizing our group, but we are playing Vampire the Masquerade 5th ed. and D20 Modern (on successive alternating weekends respectively). Btw, if you're in for one, you're in for both please (no cherry picking games, it's a headache). Even if you’ve never played any RPG before it’s ok. Everyone in the group is willing to teach, so don’t worry if you don’t have any experience; that’s not as important as a desire to play. If you're interested in getting more campaign/character creation details, please send me a private message (not a comment below, that won't be sufficient; there's a chance I'd miss it and that would suck). I'll arrange a "virtual" meet and greet session and then we can try to get you into the next upcoming game. Please, don't RSVP the same day as the event and expect to be in the game. I vet all our potentials ahead of time; that way they're a good fit but also so they can familiarize themselves with the details of the campaign, the rules system and have a character ready to go on game day (that way no one is waiting on the new guy to finish up his character). This is a 45-60 minute soothing meditation, assisted around singing bowls, most of them crystal. The goal is to relax your body, soothe your soul, and balance your your energy. I have figured out how to recreate the experience of a live sound bath on the internet. One of the things we find is that singing bowls, especially the crystal ones, seem to transmit some of the energy of the practitioner, which means that it is helpful when the practitioner is confident in their technique and in sound theory, is centered and grounded, and works with healing intent. If you have had an uncomfortable experience in a sound bath, the practitioner may have been off that day. Please note that the session on the last Saturday of the month is a more focused, coached experience designed to help you move through trauma.
