We're Mixing it Up! You're invited to English Party - Game Afternoon in the Park! We have decided to branch out and try something new this month! We will meet at Cerro San Cristobal (ParqueMet), at the Providencia (Pedro de Valdivia) entrance at 4:45pm, and we’ll all walk up the path together at 5pm to a specific location that I will share with the official guests who RSVP via WhatsApp. Join our free WhatsApp group and you can RSVP before the general public! I confirm attendees via WhatsApp. Thank you for understanding. Once we’re at our spot, we’ll play outdoor games for about 2.5-3 hours. The park closes at 8:30pm so we'll probably need to start walking back down by around 8pm. We may be running around a bit (or at least walking quickly if you prefer not to run) for some of the games so keep that in mind when planning your schedule for eating lunch that day, etc. You would want to bring appropriate clothing and gear for being outside in the sun. We’d try to hang out in the shade mostly but it’s still important to bring sun protection. Some key things to bring would be: a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses if you want, comfortable clothes, and tennis shoes (comfy shoes for walking/running around). If you think you might get hungry during the event it would also be good to bring a small portable snack like a granola bar or trail mix. More game details to be published soon! Stay tuned! Where: Meet inside of Juan Pablo II park on the steps in front of Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church. The aim of this group is to get together and practice our German. Doesn’t matter if are a beginner or a native speaker. The goal is to speak and improve our German. Everyone is welcome! If the weather is good, look for us in the Biergarten. Pro Tip: Get there before 6:00 for happy hour pricing.

While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome! Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many don’t RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here. Note: if you are asked to pay and upgrade the Meetup app, this is not necessary. You can ignore this and still attend our meetings.

We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
