Der König ist tot, es lebe der König. So könnte man das neue Projekt der **Green Software Foundation** umschreiben. Nach Jahren der Entwicklung bei *Amadeus* (führender Anbieter von IT-Lösungen für die Tourismusbranche) wurde das Projekt in Teilen open sourced und der GSF übergeben. Ziel von **Carmen** (Carbon Measurement Engine) ist es alle Emissionen über eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen zu erfassen. Somit tritt es faktisch die Nachfolge von „*Cloud Carbon Footprint*“ an und nutzt auch dessen Kennzahlen. Im Kern setzt Carmen auf das Impact Framework auf und bringt es in die reale Anwendung. Zu Gast haben wir **Florent Morel**, der Kopf hinter Carmen. Er wird uns mit einem Deep Dive in das Tooling einführen und zeigt uns, wie wir Carmen konkret einsetzen können. Du musst mal wieder den Kopf frei bekommen? Dann haben wir das Perfekte für dich: Wir wandern entlang des Walensees von Weesen nach Walenstadt - eine eindrückliche Route zwischen Fels und Wasser. Dich erwarten rund 7 Stunden Gehzeit, 21 km und jeweils 900 Höhenmeter auf und ab. Unterwegs nehmen wir uns immer wieder bewusst kurze Momente der Stille und Reflexion: Zeit, um durchzuatmen, nachzudenken und den eigenen Gedanken Raum zu geben - inspiriert von der Landschaft zwischen Enge und Weite. Am Mittag grillieren wir gemeinsam im autofreien Quinten direkt am See. Wer die gesamte Strecke nicht gehen möchte, kann die Wanderung dort beenden und mit dem Kursschiff über den Walensee fahren und individuell die Heimreise antreten. Diese Wanderung ist mehr als nur eine Tour - sie ist eine Einladung, unterwegs auch innerlich in Bewegung zu kommen. Wir organisieren uns immer per WhatsApp Community.
