Nikki Plyem is Design Manager of Product Platform at Docplanner. With over 15 years in the design industry, Nikki leads the design in the Product Platform team at Docplanner, where she focuses on building the systems and services that allow design to scale globally. Her career spans award-winning agencies and high-growth Fintech, but her unique approach to design systems is rooted in her earlier life in New York City. Before pivoting to design, Nikki spent years as a professional improviser with a background in Theater and Sociology—disciplines that taught her how to navigate complex human systems and collaborate in real-time.
