Nesting Birds at the Ocean City Welcome Center

Visit the spectacular rookery at the Ocean City Welcome Center where you can see nesting herons, night herons, egrets, and ibis at eye level. This is a great opportunity for photographers, too. Meet the leaders at the Welcome Center at 10 am. Bring water, lunch, and snacks. After spending some time viewing the nests and taking photos, we will eat our lunch at the welcome center. After lunch, we will continue our birding adventure at the Forsythe NWR, where we will bird along Wildlife Drive before heading home between 2 and 3 pm. You can stay for part of the day or the full day. In the event of rain, this event will be canceled.
