Hi all! I recently took over this group and am super new to running one! I live in P.H., but happy to travel for a good movie! I have found that as you get older, it can be challenging to meet new people. I am keeping this group as a movie & dining club that will allow people to meet and socialize. I would also love a couple of co-hosts if possible!
The general idea: we would go to the movies 1-2 times a month and then go out to brunch/lunch/ dinner or drinks afterwards. It’s a great way to meet people and you’ll easily have something to discuss.
Please share with me your movie preferences and if there is a restaurant you like or are excited to try!
I intend to plan movies in Pleasant Hill,Concord and Walnut Creek.

Free Movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark at the Orinda Theater

On the 3rd Thursday of each month Orinda theater offers a free movie at 6:30pm. Admission is free and you don't need tickets. he Theater Valdates parking in the garage. Lets meet between 6:00 - 6:25 inside the theater. Enter through the doors on the right hand side of the snack bar. I'll be saving some seat on the right side of the theater in the triangle section on the lower level. I'll have signs that saying "Contra Costa Movies and Dining". After the movie we can over to Nations for food, drinks and socialization.

After the Movie: Nations, 65 Moraga Way, Orinda, CA
It's down the street (go right when exiting the theater) accross the street to the oposite side of the street from the theater and continue right until you reach Nations.9 asistentes
