We are a team of open-minded internationals who want to share our experiences and create valuable connections while having fun!
With social gatherings every weekend, fitness and sporting events, dinners and brunches, shows and games, we aim to create as many occasions as possible for people to have a good time and meet other like-minded individuals.

No jokes, just laughs! 🌸 As the tulips bloom and the days get longer, the Berlage Comedy Club is back with a vengeance. Join us on Friday, April 10th for April Fools’ Fire—a night of high-energy English stand-up comedy that’s definitely NOT a prank.

We’ve hand-picked a lineup of international comedians ready to shake off the last of the winter blues and set the stage on fire. Whether you're a local or an international, come for the comedy and stay for the best vibes in Amsterdam!

The Amsterdam Comedy Club, a collaboration between AIC (Amsterdam International Community), expatsHaarlem, and expatshaarlemmermeer, is the most social Comedy Club in Amsterdam and surroundings. We program stand-up comedy shows each month. Experience a great evening with old and new friends, where you can enjoy the best stand-up comedians and rising stars from the Netherlands and beyond. We welcome you to enjoy great vibes and fun times with us.

We know the struggle: being an expat parent can feel a bit isolating. That’s why we’re launching a special pilot event to bring our international families together in a space that’s fun for the kids and relaxing for the parents.

“AIC Kids & Parents: The Social Playdate @ Moxy” A private afternoon on the 9th floor with stunning views, treats, and real connections.

🎡 What’s the vibe?
We’ve reserved the entire 9th floor at the Moxy Houthavens just for us. It’s a secure, private space where you can let the kids be kids while you finally have that uninterrupted adult conversation.

Here’s what’s in it for the whole family:

- For the Kids: A dedicated play zone with a Popcorn machine, Cotton Candy, Jenga, and even a TV with Dutch cartoons to help them pick up the local lingo! 🍿🍭
- For the Parents: A private bar right next to the play area. Grab a coffee or a cocktail, enjoy the view, and meet other expats who actually "get it." 🍹🏙️
- Safe & Easy: The space is enclosed, so you can keep an eye on them while you socialize.
- Bring the Favorites: Feel free to bring along your child's favorite board game or toy to share and play with new friends!
- 🧸 Is there an age limit? Since this is a pilot event, we are open to all international families! As a guideline, the activities and space are ideal for children between 2 and 10 years old. Our AIC host will be there with their own daughters (aged 3 and 5), so your little ones will definitely have someone to play with!

Bring your furry friends and let's have a wonderful day together! This event is perfect for dog owners and dog lovers who want to socialize, enjoy nature, and have a great time with their four-legged companions. Our passionate hosts: Paula or Nicolas, will be there, ready to greet you and your furry friend with open paws. 🐾🐕

Feel free to bring along a cozy blanket and some delicious snacks. Join us at 13:00 for the Paws & Pals Walk in the meeting point and let's head to the dog park shown in the photo below. And don't worry, in case of bad weather we'll still have a fun Sunday-funday by grabbing a cup of coffee or a cold beer at a nearby spot in the park.
